Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens..."
There is actually 3 heavens that God created.
1st heaven-is the atmosphere or sky where the birds fly
2nd heaven-outer space, where the planets are
3rd heaven-Heaven, where God is, where those who put there trust in God as their personal Lord and Savior go after they die, where the Church goes when the rapture takes place
Genesis 1:8 "And God called the firmament Heaven..."
