Heaven:Looking Forward to It!

Are you looking forward to heaven? If not, then you are either a.) not a Christian, or b.) a Christian who is backslidden.
Christians should and do look forward to heaven. That is they do unless they are not serving God (backslidden). A Christian in this state is in sad shape indeed. A Christian should want to serve God with all their heart, soul, and mind. A backslidden Christian is one who quit serving God as a result of a bad decision ,he or she made in her or his lifetime.
Most of the time it is many bad decisions that a person has made that lead to their bieng backslidden . Anything from dating an unbeliever, to marrying an unbeliever, wearing clothes that show off to much clevage, using bad words to fit in with the crowd, or spending time in questionable places doing questionable things is a part of backsliddeness.
Another part of this is not reading the Bible, not attending church, not praying, or memorizing Scripture, not witnessing, and being a bad example to other believers and non believers alike. A backslidden person or group of backslidders my try to run away from God just like Jonah in the Old Testament did. The problem with this is...it did not work for Jonah. Nor will it work for you. God knew where Jonah was all along, and he knows where you are too.
So, to the backslidders out there, God knows who you are. He loves you and wants to welcome you back with forgiveness, and will if you will let him! All you need to do is ask! Then, you can serve God like you should with his help, and look forward to heaven like you should !
To the unsaved out there, God loves you too, and will save you if you will allow him too! All you need to do is repent of your wrong doings, that is tell him what you have done wrong, believe-trust him-take his word for it that Jesus Christ died for you and rose again like he said so in the Bible, and talk to him like you would your best friend, and pray and ask him to save you right now ! Only then, can you look forward to heaven!
